Anyone have experience with numbness/tingling in one toe?
Jun 11, 2009 · Much more likely, you will need to learn to live with it. The fix is to sever nerves, which makes the foot feel numb, which, of course, is what you have in only one toe at the moment. I never quite understood how making the condition more widespread was considered a "fix." I have had it for years.

As the pain is in the ankle area, undo the laces and tie the knot at the next set of holes, that might do the trick.

I used the double sock system, boots one size larger than my other shoes and in 60 days of Camino walking, the only one where I got blisters was the day I decided to use the synthetic sport socks instead of silk liner / wool socks.

Jul 17, 2024 · The two or three days rest - feet allowed to dry in the warm sun. No socks - maybe open toed sandles or flip-flops. Limit your walking to essentials. Once the blisters have dried and walking is again possible I recommend getting a pair of thin "liner socks".
