Sep 27, 2022 · If you are printing 500 copies, screen printing is unbeatable in speed, cost, durability, variations, etc. You are correct... They are very similar to DTF, especially when made with water-based inks. The big difference is probably the cost, because when printing volume screen printing is really cheap.

Jul 14, 2007 · Has anybody screen printed towels, the small ones like for golf or softball? I did a couple about a year ago and they came out terrible because of the terri-cloth texture ("hairy") on the towels. Is it possible to screen print them successfully? Or are their special towels for screen printing that have a smoother side to them? Thanks! Rusty

Feb 17, 2010 · When white ink and pretreatment for white ink first came out one of the first experiments we tried was trying to apply the pretreatment by screen printing it. Unfortunately, as Jerid pointed out, the pretreatment has the viscosity of water. No matter how fine a mesh screen you use, the pretreatment just leaks right through, leaving a mess.

Apr 23, 2012 · I love printing on heather grey/sports grey shirts..i have printed just about every color under the rainbow on them and have never had any issues..Food for thought ALWAYS check the label/tag "alternative apparel" sells a great heather tee but it was a tri-blend printed well but the heat shrunk it.
