The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl — no, it's not a joke. While perhaps one of the more creatively named college football bowls that will be in existence this season, it's 100% real. And now, Miami University is about to find out if they can be the very first to win it.

Jay Norvell and his CSU Rams are rolling to the Snoop Dogg Bowl. The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, to be specific. The Rams (8-4) were invited early Sunday afternoon to play in the 2024 Arizona Bowl, marking the program’s first postseason appearance since December 2017. CSU will face Miami of Ohio (8-5) from the Mid-American Conference.

Football fans of six programs will converge on the greater Phoenix and Tucson areas for the Rate Bowl at Chase Field on Dec. 26, the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl on Dec. 28 at Arizona Stadium in Tucson and the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Dec. 31, a College Football Playoff quarterfinal.
