Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe gained 360 of Alabama’s 457 yards in the Tide’s win over Auburn on Saturday, eliminating them from bowl eligibility.

The first shots have evidently been fired from the Tigers’ corner. Freshman linebacker Demarcus Riddick made a bold prediction that he would never lose to the Crimson Tide in his Auburn career, and he also downplayed the matchup against freshman pass catcher Ryan Williams.

As it turned out, Auburn football’s Demarcus Riddick couldn’t cash the check his mouth wrote during Iron Bowl week. After Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, who Riddick claimed could not equal his speed, went around the Tiger linebacker on his way to a touchdown.

Jalen Milroe passed for 256 yards and ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 13 Alabama to a 28-14 victory over Auburn to keep the Crimson Tide's playoff hopes alive.
