A couple of days ago, social media users started reporting something strange. Apparently, ChatGPT simply refused to say the name “David Mayer.” We had to try it out — and indeed, the AI just broke down whenever it was trying to write the name.

Of course the big question is who is David Mayer and why does the utterance of his name break ChatGPT? Numerous theories have already cropped up.
