Further heavy rain is likely to cause flooding on Sunday after Storm Bert swept across Wales, forecasters have said. The Met Office has issued a new weather warning for heavy rain across a large swathe of the country until 13:00 GMT, with 98mm (4in) of rain already recorded overnight in Libanus, Powys.

A number of weather warnings are in place today, with the Met Office predicting flooding and strong wind gusts. A major incident has been declared by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council in response to the flooding.
