France intends to deliver anti-aircraft missiles and other weaponry to Ukraine. Importantly, the funds for purchasing these weapons will be sourced from Russia's frozen assets. French taxpayers can be satisfied knowing that new methods have been identified to finance support for Ukraine.

The Kremlin has rejected reports suggesting that Britain and France are in talks to send troops to Ukraine. A French newspaper, Le Monde, had claimed that the two countries had "revived" discussions about deploying Western forces and private military contractors to Ukraine.

France currently has no evidence that Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) to attack Ukraine on 21 November, but it does talk of Moscow's "continued escalation". Source: Christophe Lemoine,
