Utah HC has not won back-to-back games since their New York road trip at the beginning of the season. It will be a tall task to get it done on Sunday as they’ll either have to rely on a tired Karel Vejmelka at goaltender or turn to Jaxson Stauber, who has just six games of NHL experience on his résumé.

It was a sequence that should be familiar to Utah Hockey Club, even if it had not seen it in quite some time. It was also a play that sealed Utah’s 6-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday night at PPG Paints Arena.

It takes Utah until their third shot on goal to score, Graves and Matt Grzelcyk both chase below the goal line, Dylan Guenther makes a slick pass back out the same side he skates into and Jack McBain’s shot on goal isn’t even that good but it catches Nedeljkovic moving laterally enough to slip in.
