Pittsburg police officers investigating a deadly crash Monday night nearly became victims themselves when a suspected DUI driver barreled into the scene.

Pittsburg police were responding to a scene where a driver crashed into a power utility pole and a fire hydrant, and had their barricades crashed into by an alleged drunk driver Monday night, authorities said.
