It's true that if you're shopping straight from the Apple Store, you won't see any special deals ahead of Nov. 29. On Black Friday proper, Apple is giving out gift cards up to $200 on eligible purchases of iPhones, MacBooks, AirPods, and more.

The timing of this offer couldn’t be better as the older iPad 9th Generation (which featured a somewhat dated design) has already sold out during pre-Thanksgiving Black Friday sales. This leaves the iPad 10 as the most affordable option currently available in Apple’s tablet lineup.

Every year Apple holds a shopping event from Black Friday (November 29 in 2024) to Cyber Monday (December 2). However, since Apple rarely discounts its products, the event consists of gift card offers rather than actual savings. The newest products are excluded, so don’t expect any offers on the iPhone 16 or new MacBooks.
