San Jose State is headed back to the Hawaii Bowl for a second straight season to face South Florida. Bowl officials on Tuesday announced the matchup for the game set to be played on Dec. 24 on the campus of the University of Hawaii.

The San Jose State Spartans and South Florida Bulls will play in the 2024 Hawai'i Bowl, the bowl has officially announced.

San Jose State is representing the Mountain West Conference while South Florida will represent the American Athletic Conference on Dec. 24.

The school confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the Bulls will play in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve against San Jose State. Kickoff at Ching Athletics Complex in Honolulu (home stadium for the University of Hawaii) is set for 8 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN.

The USF Bulls will make their second straight bowl appearance under head coach Alex Golesh. The Bulls will take on San Jose State in the 21st Hawai’i Bowl on Christmas Eve from the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex on the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa campus.

San Jose State is returning to the Hawaii Bowl for a second year, but this time they have a new Hawaiian in a prominent position. Coach Ken Niumatalolo, in his first year in charge of the Spartans, will lead SJSU in the Dec.
