According to Bloomberg data, Indian rupee ended at 84.5013 against the US Dollar on November 21, as against 84.4137 close on the previous trading session.

The rupee weakened below the psychologically important 84.50-per-dollar level to hit an all-time low on Friday as the greenback's post-U.S. election rally revived and as foreign investors continued to pull out of domestic equities and bonds.

At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 84.39 against the US dollar. During the session, the local currency touched a high of 84.39 and a low of 84.41. It finally settled at 84.40 (provisional), a decline of just 1 paisa against the US currency, registering a loss for the fifth straight session.
