The two turkeys have already begun their journey to the White House, they will drive 20 hours to Washington D.C. where they will begin the pardoning process.

They were hatched on July 18 in Northfield, Minnesota, and raised on a farm by John Zimmerman, chairman of the National Turkey Federation, and his 9-year-old son, Grant, who introduced the birds at an event in Washington.

On Monday, President Joe Biden pardoned two doomed-to-be-dinner turkeys at the White House in the long-standing traditional National Thanksgiving Turkey event in his last time as commander-in-chief.
