A trained weather spotter confirmed the waterspout was close to making landfall. The warning lasted until about 5 p.m. when the threat of a tornado had passed. Officials at the NWS Portland said the storm had a history of producing waterspouts. There were no reports of damage.

GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY, Wash. — A Tornado Warning is in effect for part of southwest Washington. A warning for southwestern Grays Harbor County is in effect until 4:45 p.m. A warning for northwestern Pacific County expired at 4:30 p.m.
