In September, Toyota announced plans to enter the Repco Supercars Championship in 2026 with an A90-specification GR Supra, with Walkinshaw Andretti United selected as the homologation team. Despite recent news that the A90 being discontinued, Toyota Australia confirmed it will continue with the A90 design as originally announced.

Toyota revealed two final special editions of its current-generation A90 GR Supra, the GR Supra Lightweight Evo and the GR Supra A90 Final Edition, both built to commemorate the sports car’s nearly six-year series production run.

Toyota will say goodbye to the A90 GR Supra with an exclusive version called the “Final Edition.” The variant is only destined for Japan and Europe.
