Bayern Munich yet again saw an early conclusion to their DFB-Pokal campaign. A trophy they have not won since the 2019-2020 season. After going trophyless in what seems like an eternity, Bayern Munich are down to just the Bundesliga and Champions League for possible trophies this season.

Bayern Munich recently had to bow out (read: was knocked out) of the DFB-Pokal following a crushing defeat to Bayer Leverkusen. The most notable moment of the match was Manuel Neuer’s red card, the first of his career.
