Woman dies following weekend assault in Cork City
The woman (30s), was injured in an assault on Patrick's Street in Cork City on Sunday evening. Emergency services were called to an incident at a soup kitchen and the woman was subsequently taken to Cork University Hospital. Gardaí have confirmed that she died from her injuries this afternoon.
