FOB Sushi Bar is reopening its restaurant locations in Seattle and Bellevue, Wash., on Tuesday morning, two weeks after closing to review food safety standards after a popular food critic’s TikTok video sparked concerns that a worm was visible in raw fish he was eating.

A popular sushi restaurant that temporarily shut the doors of its Seattle and Bellevue locations due to health and safety concerns is set to reopen on Tuesday.

“Regarding the video, the movement observed in the fish may result from natural elasticity or the pressure of chopsticks when applied to its structure,” the post read. “We want to assure our customers that this is not indicative of worms or any health concerns.”
