After a weekend of college football largely devoid of surprises, the latest College Football Playoff rankings revealed Tuesday looked mostly the same as last week, with the Big Ten and SEC taking eight of twelve playoff berths.

In last week’s rankings, there were five SEC teams between the No. 7 and No. 15 spots, something that may only get more convoluted after the Bulldogs’ victory over the Vols added another team to the ranks of two-loss SEC squads.
