Ball State has hired Butler's Mike Uremovich as its head football coach, the school announced Wednesday morning. Uremovich replaces Mike Neu, who was fired 10 games into the 2024 season after nine years at Ball State.

Ball State football has hired Butler coach Mike Uremovich as the program's next head coach. Uremovich takes over at Ball State after three seasons with Butler. He led a quick turnaround there and will be tasked with leading a similar turnaround in Muncie.

Mike Uremovich is the former head coach at nearby Butler, where he led the Bulldogs to three straight winning seasons and their first FCS national ranking.
