Notre Dame will have its hands full tonight defending Army's No. 1 ranked rushing attack, and the Irish will be without All-American defensive tackle Howard Cross III. Notre Dame announced before the game that Cross was ruled out for the game, as was sophomore wide receiver KK Smith.

Undefeated and ranked 19th in the CFP rankings, Army is back on the college football map. Awaiting them is an Irish team that has been playing at an elite level for two months.
