NORMAN, Okla. — Freshman Jeremiah Fears finished with 20 points, Duke Miles scored 19 and Oklahoma cruised to an 84-56 victory over East Texas A&M on Thursday night.

The UConn men’s basketball team stormed past East Texas A&M for an 81-46 win on Tuesday night at Gampel Pavilion, the team’s last buy game before the Maui Invitational.

The Sooners found themselves up only two just minutes into the second half, but then quickly straightened some things out and built their first double-digit lead.

Oklahoma (4-0) defeated East Texas A&M (1-5) 84-56 on Thursday at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. Thursday’s contest was the first time these two teams competed against each other. The Sooners’ win was their final tune-up game before heading to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament from Nov. 27-29.

The Sooners have started 4-0 in consecutive seasons and for the third time under head coach Porter Moser. OU basketball defeated East Texas A&M 84-56 Thursday night at the Lloyd Noble Center but will be tested next week in the Bahamas.
