The Real Alcazar and the surrounding gardens are truly magnificent. A tour of the royal apartments on the upper floor of the palace is interesting, but visitors must be prepared to deal with a bad-te… Full review by Una H
We want to go to the palace tomorrow but all tickets online sold out. We could go at 9am and queue as we are staying near it - has anyone else done this managed to get entry that way?

We were in the 'on the day' queue by 8.45 am and they had already sold out. Even by then, the queue was half way round the square
We’re visiting Seville tomorrow and haven’t pre-booked tickets. As they’re sold out online, how early should I get to the ticket office? The website mentions it opens at 9am. Didn’t realise it would be so busy in October! Thanks.

Did you book your guide before your trip, or can you book one on the day. I have already booked tickets but no guide. I am hoping it is the same as the Alhambra, and there are guides outside looming around that you can book?

We did not use a guide (nor thought one was required). There are plenty of placards describing features throughout the grounds.
