Aloha, Mostly on level ground but on grass or gravel. The area that is uneven is only slightly thus not wheelchair or walker friendly. Many who have done it post stroke or injury did it with a friend carrying a folding chair or using a walking stick. We stop often and a 98 year old did it this last week with an arm to lean on now and then :)

Aloha, Yes please do contact us via email to set up a tour. We give them several days a week and that is the ONLY way guests may visit the sanctuary. We love the chance to share the animals and facility but we are a true sanctuary thus never just "open" to people walking around. Age 6 and over welcome, NO pets on the grounds or in your car please. If you know you are coming to Kona please do email well in advance so we can get you set up. Our tours do fill up and we like to keep them small so we can move right up close to the critters and everyone has a wonderful time. Email is the very best way to set up a tour. Mahalo! Ann
